Top Tracks by Number of WFMU DJ’s that played the track (preferred)
Tracks are counted by the number of DJ’s who played the track. A song is only counted once per DJ, it doesn’t matter if a single DJ played it once or 100 times. I prefer this method as it tracks common songs a listener might hear across different shows.
Top Tracks by Total Track Plays
Most played tracks by play count. Tracks with more than 50% of their plays from a single DJ were removed.
Note: given the free-format nature of WFMU and inconsistent tracking of songs played by DJ’s, I’m not sure it is possible to determine an accurate list of the ‘most played songs’ on WFMU.
